From local churches to community and business organizations, we have forged a relationship of trust with Harlem residents and institutions, and believe in giving back to the community. As a strong supporter of drug and alcohol addiction recovery efforts in the greater Harlem area, Harlem Spirituals, for the past twelve years, has sponsored the A.R.C. (Addicts Rehabilitation Center) Gospel choir on performing tours around the world.

The Harlem Spirituals Gospel tours take visitors inside a number of well-known vibrant churches to experience the reality of gospel music in a traditional setting. On our Evening and Jazz tours, you can witness the rebirth of a new and versatile jazz scene as living legends take the " A train " once again. And it's always show time at the Apollo as you join the audience in deciding who will be the next rising star. Our African American Heritage in New York itinerary is a cultural journey tracing the legacy of African Americans and their many contributions that have enriched the history and culture of New York. It was selected by the White House as an official American Pathways 2000 itinerary in Hillary Rodham Clinton's Millennium Program. This truly American experience has won the approval of a panel of representatives from the Smithsonian Institute, the US Department Of Commerce's Office Of Tourism Industries and National Park Service, and the National Endowments for the Arts Council.
