Join us for an unforgettable tour of Harlem's historic sights with a knowledgeable guide. You will experience Harlem's joyous Gospel sounds, brought to you by the unforgetable ARC Gospel choir! With its lively cultural tapestry and rich history, Harlem has a fascinating story to tell at every turn.
This tour will take you past some of Harlem's most famous landmarks, such as the legendary Apollo Theater, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and the Abyssinian Baptist Church. You will learn about the many achievements and history of its people, and see the charming enclaves of Sugar Hill - where famous musicians like Duke Ellington once lived, and Hamilton Heights and Striver's Row - nostalgic reminders of Harlem's Golden Age.
Witness the beautiful acapella sounds of the ARC Gospel choir during our mid-week hour of power. Hear their powerful voices singing songs of praise and share their experience. ARC stands for Addicts Rehabilitation Center, the oldest drug-free treatment program center in New York State. The ARC Gospel choir was formed to finance treatment for the people in the community to help them recover from drugs.
If you are not available on Wednesday, come and join us on our Sunday Harlem Gospel tour!
